COACHING REQUIREMENTS
Before Completing the Application to registration below, please read the following requirements for all coaches and team parents:

Certification Requirements if approved to coach:

• Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification is required for all participants.  For more information on course schedules and registration please click the link below: http://youthsports.rutgers.edu/educational-courses/volunteer-coaches . Once completed you will be reimbursed by the organization. 
• Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications (or P.R.E.P.A.R.E.) for at least two coaches.  For more information on local facilities, course schedules and registration please click the links below: https://www.nationalcprfoundation.com/  http://www.sportssafety.org/Programs/Prepar
•  A background check will be run on each participant through Pop Warner by the league Vice President
• Annual  YCADA certification  is required for all cheer coaches https://www.ycada.org/#!y101pw-course/c1vhn

Documentation Requirements: 

• PWLS Application PWLS volunteer application . Complete and e-mail to the Board at [email protected]
• Executed signature page of the Risk Management handbook from the Pop Warner National website. This will be handed out to each team at the start of the season and is required to be placed in the Team Binder.
